It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darlene J. Childers of La Porte, Indiana, born in Michigan City, Indiana, who passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Kellogg and Beryle Kellogg (Dostie); and her siblings, Susan and James "Porky" Kellogg. She is survived by: her husband Jack Childers, Sr.; and her children, Rhonda Mishler of Mount Pleasant, SC, Wendy Enos of Westville, IN, Charlene Jost of Michigan City, IN and Robert Ingelson of Holland, MI. She is also survived by six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Lung Association of Indiana, 115 W. Washington St., Ste 1180 South, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
