He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloman McBee and Margaret B. McBee (Lytle); his wife Bonita S. Holder; his son Timothy J. McBee; his stepson Clinton Harden; and his brothers, David McBee, Dale McBee and Delmer McBee.

He is survived by: his close friend Annie Oak; his granddaughter Haleigh Hardin; and his sister Kathy McBee.
