He is survived by: his sons, Ron Sommers (Carolyn) of Kokomo, Mick Sommers (Julie) of Leola and Larry Sommers (Julia Sibley) of Lafayette; his stepchildren, Gary Purvis of Kokomo, Larry Purvis (Susan) of Peru, Connie Winkler (Mike) of Kokomo, Denny Purvis (Sue) of Orlando and Linda Merchant (Rob) of Kokomo; his sister Darlene Miller (Wayne) of Bunker Hill; and his sister-in-law Martha Sommers (Darlton) of Goshen. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
