She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Riggs and Josephine Riggs Durr (Hoover); her daughter Pamela Shoemaker; and her brothers, Robert Riggs and Mahlon Durr.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Aaron (Ed) and Steven Tilley (Connie); and her grandchildren, Christine Wines (Brent), Jason Shoemaker (Shelia), Scott Shoemaker (Martha), Amy Cobbins (Marcus), Joey Tilley (Kamie), Shane Aaron (Kristen), Shawna Cline (Bradley), Lori Burns (Gary), Emily Kruger (Nathan) and Spencer Curnutt (Cayla). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great great grandchild.
She attended on a regular basis until Covid kept her from doing so.
Contributions may be made in Betty's memory to the Judson Road Christian Church.
