She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Williams and Elizabeth Nevelyn Williams (Mayes); her husband Johnnie Newberry; and her grandson Jake Brown Newberry. She is survived by: her children, David Newberry (Theresa) and Regina Gemmel (Donald); her grandchildren, Kastonia Newberry Gray (Adam), Jeffrey Smith (Emily), Angela Gemmel and Donnie Gemmel (Jami); and her great grandchildren, Addison, Kaitlyn, Jonah, Lalani, Destiny, Jaylynn, Sofia, Weston and Natallia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home (5463 Kentucky Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46221). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
