She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Nesset and Engrid Nesset (Olson); and her sisters, Ione Erickson, Arlene Knapper and Elsie Mechen.

She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Hiemstra of Vallejo, CA, Thomas Hiemstra of Marion and Tracy Hiemstra of Fort Wayne; her grandchildren, Michele Gerlach of Novato, CA and Travis Devine of Reno, NV; and her great grandchildren, Maximus Gerlach, Hannah Gerlach, Jackson Hiemstra and Lucas Hiemstra.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel (2901 Guilford St, Huntington, IN 46750).
