We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2024, at the age of 85, Kay L. Lilie (Huntington, Indiana), born in Andrews, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Beghtel and Lila Beghtel (Bradford); her husband Carl W. Lilie; her daughter Susan Gallmeyer; and her sister Linda Baker.

She is survived by: her children, Brad Welty (Maureen Tighe) of Huntington, Kelly Ferneau (Michael) of Benton Harbor, MI and Nanette Isenbarger (Bob) of New Haven; her son-in-law Byron Gallmeyer of Hoagland; and her siblings, Jean Ann Collins of Leo, Patsy Mahle of Plano, TX, Andris Ross of Roanoke, Barbara Fusselman of Huntington and Jim Beghtel of Muncie. She is also survived by Seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial donations can be made out to the Cancer Services of Huntington County, sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, Indiana.

“I am shocked and saddened to hear of Kay's passing. We enjoyed playing Mah Jongg with her at the Senior Center in Fort Wayne. For her to drive so far she must have enjoyed us as well. RIP Kay.”
