He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy Gidcumb of Morgantown, KY, Elizabeth Barks of Louisville, KY and Charlie Franzell (Darlene) of Huntingburg; his children, Kathy Miller of Russellville, KY, Robert Franzell (Karen) of Maceo, KY, Ronnie Rogier of Cloverport, KY and John Franzell of Huntingburg, IN; and his grandchildren, Ben Franzell, Jacob Cooper, Christian Mattingly, Cassie Mattingly, Chealsey Mattingly, Aaron Mullen and Brianna Robinson. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
