She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Weitkamp and Alice Weitkamp (Hemmer); her husband Edwin Buse; her siblings, Doris Mae Grim and Lawrence Weitkamp; and her grandson Blake Buse.

She is survived by: her children, Bev Messmer (Kevin) of Jasper, IN, Michael Buse of Holland, IN, Scott Buse (Katrina) of Jasper, IN, Brad Buse (Annette) of Huntingburg, IN and Mark Buse (Stephanie) of Jasper, IN; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abby, Sara, Alison, Derek, Makenzie, Jackson, Brandon, Blair, Bailey and Brooklyn; and her stepgrandchildren, Derek and Sara. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
