It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian A. Minnich of Hoagland, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rheinhart Herber and Claudine Herber (Sorg); her spouse Maximillian J. Minnich; her grandson Joshua J. Minnich; and her siblings, Kenneth Herber, Richard Herber and Betty Landin.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Minnich (Jeanne) of Monroeville, Indiana, Stanley Minnich (Jayne) of Hoagland, Indiana, Deborah Sorg (Jerry) of Hoagland, Indiana, Linda Schurr (Tom) of Ossian, Indiana and Tami Scheumann (Brandon) of Hoagland, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Ryan Minnich, Autumn Schuch (Derek), Jake Minnich (Stacy), Cliff Sorg (Amanda), Ben Sorg (Kim), Valerie Turner (Tony), Zachary Sorg (Amber), Luke Hurt (Lacy), David Hurt (Valerie), Madilyn Scheumann, Grace Scheumann, Grant Scheumann and Ellie Beachy. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and two honorable great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Vivian's family would ask that preferred memorials be directed toward the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hessen Cassel Building Fund or Hoagland Fire Department & EMS.
