He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Hildegarde-Staub and Mary Hildegarde-Staub (Lengerich); his former wives, Linda S. Staub (Grim) and Judy Butler; and his brothers, James Staub and Thomas Staub.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Whitacre-Staub; his sons, Brian Staub and Mark Staub; his stepchildren, Jeff Whitacre, Matthew Whitacre (Beth) and Kathy Koselke; and his siblings, Mary Ann Lengerich (Patrick) and Jean Lehman (Don). He is also survived by five step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in his honor may be directed to the Saint Joseph Hessen Cassel Food Bank or to Masses.
