He was predeceased by: his father Paul Scheumann; his wife Pamela Koehler; and his siblings, Raymond Scheumann (Helen), Henry Scheumann, Geraldine Meyer (Albert), Lona Hormann (Enno) and Margaret Kiefer (Clifford).
He is survived by: his children, Janilyn O'Shaughnessey (Leon) of Monroeville, Jill Renae Bieberich (Doug) of Fort Wayne, Jacquelyn Knefelkamp (Jeff) of Monroeville, Indiana and Darin Scheumann (Gwen) of Ossian, Indiana; his sister Garnita Rebber of New Haven, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Delores Scheumann of Ossian, Indiana. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Preferred memorials are to St. John Lutheran Church-Bingen or Worship Anew.
