It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy Joseph Hughes (Highland, Indiana), born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick J. Hughes and Jeanne M. Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hughes; his children, Dr. Maureen Hughes and Daniel Hughes (Michelle); his granddaughter Cali Marie; and his siblings, Michael (Nenita), Noreen Ruberto (Michael), Kathleen Holland, Dorothy, John (Larysa), Mary Kay, Mary Pat and Thomas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
