He was predeceased by: his daughter Janet; his parents, Joseph Richter and Otilla Luprich; and his siblings, Joe Richter, Ceil Theim, Lou Richter, Rita Okray, Ben Richter and Jim Richter.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Czarnecki (John) of Saint John, Carol Popovich (Joe) of Highland, Lori Dean (Darryl) of Monticello and Joe Richter of Indianapolis; his great grandchildren, Anders Popovich and Harper Gaik; and his sister Margaret Karress.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center (8941 Kleinman Rd, Highland, IN 46322). A prayer was held on Friday, January 26th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 26th 2024 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association in Thomas's memory.
