He is survived by: his parents, Elvis Freeman and Anna Mae Freeman (Spalding); his son Derek Freeman; his former wife Marydith Delong; his brothers, Willie Freeman (Amy), Paul Freeman (Jody), Sammy Freeman and Bobby Freeman (Sally); his stepdaughter Lisa Redmond; and his daughter Raina. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
