It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darvin J. Elpers of Haubstadt, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elpers and Lorene Elpers (Steckler); and his siblings, Jerome "Cheerio" Elpers, James Albert Elpers, George F. Elpers, Dolly Martin, Dorothy Melton and Marcia.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Elpers (Mounts); his children, Carol Lupfer, Jacqueline Oing (Jim), Debra Bender (Chris), Christine Crowder (Kelly), John Elpers (Lori) and Michael Elpers (Kelly); his siblings, Donna Gries (Don) and Eugene Elpers (Patsy); his grandchildren, Braden Lupfer, Adam, Tyler, Jace Elpers, Blake, Tanner, Reed Oing, Alex, Austin, Ross, Camden Bender, Courtney Bittner, Kendall Crowder, Addison, Avery and Ashton Elpers; and his great grandchildren, Brock and Gabby Bender.
