He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Acker (Risch); his children, Mary Monfreda (Mike), Joseph Acker Jr. (Nichole) and Steven Acker (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Dawn Calvert (Jack), Kevin Monfreda, Anthony Monfreda, Ryan Acker (Ashley), Zachary Acker, Greg Acker (Amber), Izabel Puente (Quenton), Emily Acker, Carlie Wickey and Jordan Wickey; his sisters, Rosemary Fox and Charlotte Manning (Dan); and his sister-in-law Roseann Acker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
