It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Mearling of Greenfield, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Mearling (Merlau) and Alfred Mearling; his wife Beverly Mearling; and his stepfather Walter Schakel. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Mearling (Marilynn) of Evansville, Linda Baker (James) of Greenfield and Kathy Trautmann (David) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Brian (Ami), Kevin (Jennifer), Emily, Scott (Hannah), Natalie and Nicholas; and his great grandchildren, Dax, Benjamin and Jaycie.
