It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Burton of Greenfield, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles S. Hoagland and Lila E. Hoagland (Sherwood); her stepfather Burl Darnell; and her brother Robert "Bob" Hoagland. She is survived by: her husband Harold Burton; her children, Debbie S. Matthews of Plainfield, Jim J. Burton of Alcoa, TN, John R. Burton of Greenfield, Joy M. Blagburn (Gary) of Fishers and Steve C. Burton (Kristin) of Anderson; her siblings, Carolyn S. Hoagland of Indianapolis and Richard J. Hoagland of Indianapolis; and her stepsister Kathy Wagner of West Lafayette. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 expected great-grandchild.
