She was predeceased by: her parents, Margueritte and Burris; and her brother Richard D. Carriveau Jr. Marcella. She is survived by: her children, Matthew R. Shaul (Cara Thomas) and Alyssa M. Tackett (John); her sisters, Gail Prather (Joe), Debbie Carriveau, Pam Morrow and Dawn Craft; and her granddaughter Mackenzie Shaul.
