She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Robert Kolb and Agnes Emma Kolb (Green); her husband Arthur Melville Batts; her brother Wayne Kolb; her son-in-law Earl Smith; and her granddaughter Naomi Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Smith of Greenfield, John Geisking (Beth) of Spencer and Donald Geisking (Beth) of Greenfield; and her grandchildren, Chris, Michael, Amanda, Mara and Makayla. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Naomi Ann Smith, Teaching with Love Scholarship" fund, 312 E. Main St., Greenfield, IN 46140 through the Hancock County Community Foundation or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
