He was predeceased by: his parents, Lando Heiny Sr. and Mildred Heiny (Flowers); his wife Pat Heiny; his grandson Nicholas Joseph Fullerton; and his siblings, Jim, Bill Heiny, Mary Williams and Dorothy Herron.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Ferguson, David Heiny, Terry Heiny (Vicky), Jerry Heiny (Nancy), Lori Rohn (David), Brenda Hooks (Brent) and Mike Heiny (Christy); his brother Ronnie Heiny; and his grandchildren, Melissa, Kami, Margo, Stephanie, Kyle, Brad, Brian, Taylor, Kelly, Zach, Michaela, Sammy and Spencer. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
