He was predeceased by: his father William McGinnis; and his brothers-in-law, Shelton Oakes and Mark Sherwood. He is survived by: his mother Leola Faye (Kemerly); his wife Cindy McGinnis (Smith); his son Andy William McGinnis; his stepsons, Zachary Hamilton (Natasha), Wesley Hamilton (Amanda) and Ezekiel Hamilton (Olivia); and his siblings, Jon McGinnis, Paul McGinnis, Rob McGinnis (Julie) and Dianna Oakes (Sherwood). He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
