He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley H. Banks and Bertha Banks (Morgan); his daughter Carla Lappin; and his siblings, Virgil, Roy Banks, Beatrice Brown and Ruth Crittenden.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Banks of Greenfield; his grandson Jason Hayes (Alicia); his great grandchildren, Addisyn and Emma Hayes; and his brothers, Edgar Banks of New Palestine and Ray Banks of Richmond, KY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
