It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty E. (Fadely) Fields of Greenfield, Indiana, who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Fadely and Mary Elizabeth Fadely (Ricks); her husband Max E. Fields; and her siblings, Evelyn Holmes, Nancy Strough and Ferrell Fadley.

She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Lou Cole (Barry) of Greenfield; her granddaughter Brittany Dellenbach (Nick) of Greenfield; her great grandchildren, Remie and Wade Dellenbach; and her niece Jayne Seybert.

“I met Betty and Max many years ago dancing at the Moose. We became friends and met many Sat nights for dancing. They were tremendous dancers. Betty always had a particular step that my husband and I could not master. She would have Max put her into that step and when she was near us an she woluld give her little look and chuckle. Always enjoyed our time with them Years pass by and you loose contact. Betty you always tried to keep your age from us, so now we know. Ha. I think.”
