She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Wood and Elizabeth Wood (Jarnigan); and her siblings, Marie Knudson, Geraldine Goss, Albert, Odell and Norman Wood. She is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Emma to the Hanna Street Baptist Church 501 E. Hanna St. Greencastle, IN. 46135.
