He was predeceased by: his parents, Mose Coblentz and Elizabeth Coblentz (Borntrager); and his brother Jerry Coblentz. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Mishler; his sons, Lonnie Coblentz (Sue) of Middlebury and Troy Coblentz of Goshen; his grandchildren, Justin and Sara Coblentz; and also, Mose Coblentz, Jr. (Martha) of Middlebury and LaVerne Coblentz (Beverly) of Wakarusa.

“Verton was my cousin. My sister (Diane Perkins (Borntrager)) and I remember Verton as a great family member with a glorious sense of humor. Although our family moved from Goshen to Arizona in 1963, we still remember the good times growing up and all the great times on Grampa (Daniel) and grandma (Katie) farm, with Verton, Jerry Lee, Junior, and Laverne. Our condolence's to Verton's family, wife Sharon, children and grandchildren Roger Borntrager, Tombstone, AZ”
