It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth LaDonna Leatherman of Goshen, Indiana, born in Monroe, Washington, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis B. Miller and Magdalena Miller (Wagler); her husbands, Jerry Lee Smith and Clifford Leatherman; her siblings, Joseph, Abner, Roy, Phillip Miller, Agnes Leatherman, Leona, Margaret Miller, Clara Blucker and Vera Troyer; and her stepchildren, Darlene Sherck, Sandra Kauffman and Vern Leatherman.
She is survived by: her children, Lonny Smith of Bristol, Jerry Smith (Ellen) of Goshen, John Smith of Bristol, Kevin Smith (Shelly) of Dunlap and Cheryl Yoder of Goshen; her stepson-in-law Gerald Kauffman of Middlebury; and her brother Francis Miller, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
