He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Kassner and Gladys Kassner (Norden); his brothers, Arthur and Jon; and his siblings-in-law, Josephine, Delores, Don Bierly and Marjorie.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Jean; his children, Rick (Amy), Dayna, Karl and Keith (Michelle); his grandchildren, Sharon Mellberg, Lori Newton, Diane Kassner, Michelle (Jimmy), Kevin, Payton, Kyle, Kara and Elly; his great grandchildren, Justin and Nathan; and his siblings, Elaine Bierly, Elly Cleaver (Jerry) and Bob.
