It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel L. Young of Goshen, Indiana, born in Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Shook, and Ester Shook, Jr. (Kurtz); her former husband Oscar D. Kleitz; her spouse Jerry Young; her brother Kenton Shook; and her granddaughter Felecia Wall.
She is survived by: her children, Marvin Kleitz (Courtney) of Edwardsburg, MI, Jonathon Young (Kelly) of Effingham, IL, Jeffrey Young (Veronica) of Manchester, TN and Esther Hernandez of Goshen; her grandchildren, Amber, Ashley Kleitz, Kayle, Breanna, Brooklyn Young, Robert, Brayden, Aaron Kleitz, Alex Young, Brett and Triston Klein; her great grandchildren, Preston, Kalep and Addalynn Kleitz; and her siblings, Patricia George (David) of White Pigeon, MI, Linda Swope of Elkhart and Clifford Shook (Sherry) of South Bend.
