It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monica A. Cherniak of Goshen, Indiana, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 6, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cichon and Cecilia Cichon (Spisak); and her brother Raphael Cichon. She is survived by: her husband Rudy Cherniak; her children, Catherine Cherniak, Theresa Cherniak (Stephen Shibley), Lawrence Cherniak, Elletsville, Mary Acosta (Elias), Cecilia Reising (Paul) and Andrea Cherniak; and her brother Valentine Cichon (Rosemary). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
