He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lorenz and Beulah Lorenz (Sproal); his wife Phyllis J. Swinehart; and his siblings, Doris Lorenz, Phyllis Lorenz, Martha Lewallen and John Lorenz.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Vlaeminck (Steve) of Marcellus, Wanda Clay (Jim) of Union, Michigan and Dennis Lorenz (Joanne) of Goshen; and his siblings, Kenneth Lorenz (Marilyn) of Grand Rapids, Gary Lorenz (Jody) of Union, Michigan and Mary Combs of Bristol. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
