With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Nisley of Goshen, Indiana, born in Middlebury, Indiana, who passed away on June 7, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abe J. Lehman and Lydia Ann Lehman (Miller); her husband LeRoy Nisley; and her siblings, Mervin, John, Lester Lehman and Esther Chupp.
She is survived by: her children, Miriam Miller (Edwin) of Middlebury, Martha Bontrager (Wilbur) of Shipshewana, Mary Kathryn Miller (Ernest) of Middlebury, Wilbur Nisley (Waneta) of Goshen, Gerald Nisley (Marilyn) of Goshen, John Nisley (Wanda) of Goshen, Steve Nisley (Eldora) of Goshen and David Nisley (Suetta) of Goshen; her sister Polly Anna Miller (Lavern) of Kingston, WI; her sisters-in-law, Amanda Lehman and Ellen Lehman; and her brothers, Elmer J. Lehman of Shipshewana and LaVern A. Lehman (Lydia Mae) of Middlebury. She is also survived by 54 grandchildren, 121 great grandchildren.
