He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin B. Young and Estella Young (Miller); and his siblings, Janet Elijah and Howard Young. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Shook; his sons, Jeff Young and Johnathan Young; his stepchildren, Esther Hernandez of Goshen and Marvin Kleitz; and his siblings, Margaret Starr of Elkhart, Marcella Cane of Elkhart, Blanch Peerce of Glendale, Kentucky and Marty Young. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
