She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Berkey and Lucille Berkey (Hess); and her siblings, Norma Miller and Weldon Berkey. She is survived by: her husband Mahlon Cender; her children, Jonathan Cender (Hiromi Yamazaki-Cender) of Koloa, Judy Saylor (Eli), Beth Cender (Jeff Yarmen) of Fairbanks and Jeanine Kaufman (Rodney); her grandchildren, Isaac Saylor (Toni), Ben Saylor (Heidi), Erin Saylor, Michelle Kaufman (Scott Wilkinson), Krista Kaufman (Josh Hertzler) and Luke Kaufman (Olga Meza-Vega); and her great grandchildren, Malakai, Shiloh, Cypress, Violet, Avery, Hazel and Owen.
Memorial donations may be directed to Waterford Mennonite Church or to the Greencroft Foundation for the Good Samaritan Fund.
