She was predeceased by: her parents, James G. McConnell and Vera O. McConnell (Gonderman); her former husband Michael Hoover; her sister Kathleen Poe; and her brother-in-law Dean Ernest.
She is survived by: her husband David Christie of Sterling, Michigan.; her daughter Jennifer L. Hoover; her grandchildren, Zachary A. Hoover, Autumn Rose Stone (Timothy) and Lucus Michael Hoover; her great grandchildren, Leighton James Davis and Myles Anthony Stone; and her siblings, Michael McConnell and Rosemary Ernest. She is also survived by 10 nieces & nephews.
Memorial donations may be directed to Shipshewana United Methodist Church.
