He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Whitlock and Sonia Whitlock (Carlson); his son Richard Jr.; his brother Robert Whitlock; and his brother-in-law Thomas Terry.
He is survived by: his son William Whitlock of Gwinn; and his siblings, Lorraine Terry of Alsip, IL and Daniel Whitlock.
