It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Diaz Sr. of Gary, Indiana, who passed away on November 9, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Zacarias Diaz and Antonia Diaz; and his siblings, George Luis, Juanita Joyce and Elizabeth Diaz.

He is survived by: his wife Carmen; his children, Johnny Jr. (JJ) and Ivette Lafitte; and his siblings, Vincent and Lucy Castro (Geno). He is also survived by nephews; nieces; and many friends.
