It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Figueroa of Gary, Indiana, who passed away on January 22, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrique Figueroa and Maria Figueroa; and his parents-in-law, Matias C., Mary A. Flores and John.
He is survived by: his wife Diane L. Figueroa; his sons, John H. (Ladrenna) and Michael J. Figueroa (Margarita); his granddaughter Ava; his pet Bruno; his siblings, Henry (Frances), Ramon (Sue), Robert, Frankie, Lucy, Maria (Juan), Annie and Kathy; his siblings-in-law, Beverly Armenta, Judy Flores, Jesse Flores (Isela) and Tony Flores (Janine); his close friend Steve Stofko; and his sister Gretchen (Brent). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; many extended family members and friends.
John will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 1:00 P. M. to 3:00 P. M. at Rendina Funeral Home (5100 Cleveland Street, Gary, IN) with a Chapel Service beginning at 3:00 P. M. Masks are required, and social distancing strongly encouraged.
