He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth Pierce (Gilsinger) and Florice Benjamin 'Ben'; his brothers, Robert 'Bob Pierce, Don, Donald, Chet and Chester; his grandson Glenn Arthur Pierce Jr.; his stepson David Bruce William Rhymer; and his grandson Alexander Paul Rhymer.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay (Fultz-Rhymer); his siblings, Doris DelMagorie of Laporte, Indiana, Nila Hartlerode of Harrison, Arkansas and Patrick 'Pat' Pierce (Sue) of Russellville, Kentucky; his sister-in-law Virginia Pierce of Mishawaka, Indiana; his children, Glenn Arthur Pierce of Winamac, Indiana, Dale Robert Pierce of Winamac, Indiana, Marilyn Beth Nichols-Stump of Tampa, Florida, Linda Marie DePoy of Winamac, Indiana and Karen Louise Cattin of Winamac, Indiana; and his stepchildren, John Mitchell Rhymer (Sally) of Azle, Texas and Tressie Sue Harrison of Dublin, Georgia. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
