She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lowery and Bernadine Lowery (Dennis); her husband Vernon Kail; her brother Ron Lowery; and her stepmother Anne Lowery.

She is survived by: her daughter Kim Heyder (Josh) of Orleans; her siblings, Charlie Lomascolo of Illinois, Sara Grimes of West Baden and Pat Lomascolo of Illinois; and her grandson Dakota Levi.
