He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Condra and Sarah Condra (Smith); his granddaughter Jennifer Condra; his brothers-in-law, Bill, Bob, Jack and Richard Carnes; and his son-in-law Mike Deakins.

He is survived by: his wife Violet Carnes.

“Dear Aunt Violet, Steve, Janet, Judy and grandchildren, Everyone that knew Uncle Jim, lost a very good friend and family member. Never in my life had I ever heard of a negative word from or about him. Men like him are few and far between when it comes to his goodness and love. I have been blessed to have him in my life. I pray and will continue to do so for all of you. May God give you some comfort knowing that he is in the best place ever and some day we will see him again. Charlene Graves”
