Alma Abel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2021, at the age of 91, Alma Abel of French Lick, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward and Myrtle Rose Meehan (Dickens); her husband Donald McClellan Abel; and her siblings, Carl, John, David, Thomas, Louis Meehan, Pauline White, Leona Brewer, Lorene Reynolds, Vera Blevins and Wilma Meehan.
She is survived by: her children, David Abel (Hermi) of Oklahoma City, Phillip Abel of Newport, Linda Smith (Michael) of Bedford and Leah Bledsoe (David) of French Lick; her siblings, Paul Meehan of French Lick and Thelma Brown (Robert); her grandchildren, Davey Bledsoe (Jami) of French Lick and Phillip B. Abel of Nashville; and her great grandchildren, Aubrey and Brack Bledsoe.
