With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Lou Hemmerling of Frankfort, Indiana, born in Tipton, Indiana, who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archibald E. Small and Ruby Small (Brunson); her husband Charles Arthur Hemmerling; her granddaughter Maggie Compton Teter; and her siblings, Walter Richard Small, Robert Lee Small, Billie Gene Small and Mary Ellen Lord.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rosie Wright (Rodney) of Frankfort and Joyce Ann Wire (Brian "Hair Bear") of Colfax; her grandchildren, Amy Hickson (Wesley) of Pensacola, Abby Moore (Rob) of Frankfort and Christian Lynn "Danielle" Compton (Seth Smith) of Rossville; her stepgrandchildren, Gina Gubocki (Kevin) of Sheridan, Darin Wright (Crystal) of Frankfort and Damon Wright (Caitlin) of Lafayette; and her great grandchildren, Kadence Bales of Frankfort, Tori Moore of Frankfort, Adrienne Compton of Frankfort, Aubrey Jean Teter of Frankfort and Payton Shea Teter of Frankfort.
