We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2024, at the age of 91, Richard Abbott of Frankfort, Indiana, born in Lebanon, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Abbott and Jessie Abbott (Likens); his former wife Marijane; and his siblings, Lucille Allen, Barbara Piscador, Bill and Terry Abbott.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn S. Hendrickson Vandevender; his children, Gregg Abbott (Donna), Terri Cottrell (Larry), Todd Vandevender, Carla Kaelin and Beth Walker; his grandchildren, Erin Mattingly (Denise), Elizabeth Cottrell, Emily O'Connell (Chris), Ellen Abbott (Dylan Xavier), William Kaelin, Nathan Kaelin (Hayley), Leann Predolich (Josh) and Clayton Walker; and his brothers, Larry Abbott (Shirley) and Dan Abbott (Peggy).
