He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland and Grace Posey (Riley); his wife Linda Fay Spears; his son Tommy Posey; and his siblings, Susie Grove, Janet Posey, Rose Whitt, Robert and Clayton Posey.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Sue Hardy of Frankfort; his children-in-law, Todd Swisher Sr. (Whitney) of Tennessee, Matt Sink of Frankfort, Herbie Carroll of Frankfort, Charles Stockton of Lafayette, Kim Sink of Laporte, Tonya Horn of Frankfort and Jamie Lewis of Camden; his siblings, Roscoe Posey (Sue) of Ohio, Billy Posey (Tracy) of Ohio, Grover Posey (Kay) of Ohio, Virginia Smith (Eric) of Frankfort and Linda Caroline Schooley (Dick) of Frankfort; and his sister-in-law Julie Posey. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
