It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Marie Petre of Frankfort, Indiana, who passed away on December 24, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Clarence Corwin Sr. and Bernice Ruby Corwin (Eaton); her husband Donald Leon Petre; her son Terry Lee; her children-in-law, Brian Scott Imel and Carol Petre; her grandson Hagan Robert Petre; and her siblings, Joseph Clarence Corwin, Mabel Irene Saulsberry, Roberta Bessie Summers and Mary Louise Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Robert L. "Bob" Petre, Donna Jean Ridenour (Damon) of Rural Frankfort and Tina Marie Shaffner (Jim) of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Cory Lee Ridenour of Rural Frankfort, Robert John Petre of Michigantown, Natacha Marie Petre of Illinois and Alysse Camille Ridenour of West Lafayette; her great grandchildren, Jayden Petre, Keedyn Petre, Meaira Ridenour and Olivia Frye; and her sister Fern Curry of Columbus, OH..
Memorial donations in memory of Helen may be made to the Hopewell United Methodist Church.
