It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Ellis Maxwell of Frankfort, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Harry Ellis leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Harry Ellis may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fraser Maxwell and Caroline Maxwell (Young); and his sister Marilyn Hudson. He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Coddington (Dennis) of Frankfort, Melissa Eller (Mike) of San Antonio, TX and Kimberly Head (Timothy) of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Memorials in memory of Sonny Maxwell may be made to his family to assist with an Appreciation Plaque that will be presented to the Indiana Veterans Home in Sonny's honor.
