Evelyn M. Payne Huffer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn M. Payne Huffer of Frankfort, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn M. Payne Huffer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd E. and Mary E. Gilmore (Crick); her former spouse Gene A. Payne; her husband Wilbur Huffer; her brother Donald Eugene Gilmore; and her grandson Robbie C. Payne.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Payne (Linda) of Lebanon, Mary Ann Shepherd (Benny), Louden of Darlington, Marlene Payne Goss of New Castle and Marilyn Merrill (Sam) of Lebanon; and her siblings, Alice Davis of Frankfort, Roberta Wiley of Frankfort, Joan Wood (Millard See) of Frankfort and Robert Gilmore (Pam) of Zionsville. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, several Great Grand-Children and Great Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Goodwin Funeral Home (200 S Main St, Frankfort, IN 46041). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
