It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald J. Pershing of Frankfort, Indiana, born in Washington, Indiana, who passed away on August 11, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carl and Mabel H. Pershing (Morris); and his former wife Joyce McPike. He is survived by: his children, Mark of Moline, IL, Dale (Cathy) of Indianapolis and Carol Taylor (Tom) of Indianapolis; his wife Eleanor Dehn Howell (Porter); his stepsons, Dan Dehn (Jennifer) of Frankfort, Steve Dehn (Emily) of Portland, OR, Kevin Howell of Peru and Todd Daniels-Howell (Jeanette) of Indianapolis; and his siblings, June Harshberger, Helen Wiesler, Roscoe Pershing (Ann) and Stephen Pershing (Carla). He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
